Negeri Sembilan

Negeri Sembilan is one of the Malaysia’s states. The name of the this state was derived from the nine villages or Nagari in the Minangkabu language. Its capital is Seremban and have a population of approximately 997,071.

It lies on the western coast of Peninsular Malaysia just south of Kuala Lumpur and borders Selangor on the north, Pahang in the east and Malacca and Johor to the south.

In Negeri Sembilan, different kinds of religion are performed by the people such as Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, Christianity, Chinese Ethnic, etc.. Each community performed their own religion.

The climate of this state is generally hot and humid due to the location of Malaysia that is near to the equator. Temperature ranges from 27 to 30 degrees Celsius. From April to October, it is wet enough.

This state is full of shopping centers. Several large shopping malls are there that make it a paradise for shoppers. Seremban Parade is one of the most frequently visited shopping malls.  The ocean Shopping mall is the other one which gathers a large number of crowds. The newest shopping mall in Seremban is the Jusco Seremban 2 Mall. It is the largest shopping mall in the state.

Dining & Restaurant
Seremban is popular for its baked pastries (Seremban Siew Pau) with pork fillings. Chicken fillings are also there. These pastries are simply to die for and great to go together with a hot cup of tea. This is a right place to go for some good seafood dishes with your family and friends. Also, the Kensington Western Restaurant is a great place to fulfill your cravings for western food and also Loon Sing Restaurant where they serve the best Chinese cuisine.

The best way to get around in Negeri Sembilan or Seremban would be through your own transport as there are not many choices of public transport here, other than taxis and buses. Taxis and buses are also in small numbers. The town of Seremban is quite a small one, thus one can get around even if he/she drive on their own.
